Here at Robin Hood Dramatics, you will make new friends, build your confidence, develop creativity, and enhance your talents and skillset.

We offer a wide range of Performing Arts clubs, including Drama, Singing (both group and solo), Dance, Music, Art, and Musical Theatre. Our sessions help young people express themselves, grow in confidence, and develop performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Alongside our academies, we also run Sherwood AP, a supportive alternative provision designed to help young people succeed both academically and creatively. Sherwood AP offers Maths and English alongside Drama, Dance, Music, Art, and PE, creating a balanced programme that supports learning, wellbeing, and personal development in a smaller, nurturing environment.

About us

Dramatics (Performing Arts) at Robin Hood Dramatics (RHD) helps to develop our students to be well rounded individuals, giving them the opportunity to express themselves as well as fostering a creative appreciation for life. We have a range of classes including Saturday clubs, Afterschool Clubs and a daytime AP under RHD.

The subject is more than just nurturing the next generation of creative professionals. It is providing every student with the interpersonal skills required for their next steps, whatever direction they may take. Through a demanding and diverse curriculum, we aim to help students develop an appreciation of character, culture, confidence and creativity. We want students to be equipped with the confidence and strength to tackle life beyond RHD and RHD provides a space for this, through active and enjoyable lessons. We run a range of classes which work towards putting on modern and innovative performances locally. The core value why we learn Dramatics at RHD is to ensure that our students are the ones ‘to make the world a better place’.
